PRODUCTION DATES

Rehearsals Tuesday/Thursday 6-8:30pm and Saturday 1-4pm

NO REHEARSAL DURING SPRING BREAK

Tech Week: Sunday, April 19 - Thursday, April 23

4 Performances:  Friday, April 24 - Sunday, April 26, 2020

School Day Performance: Friday, April 24 10am and 1pm

REGISTER

  • Schedule commitment: You must be able to commit to the entire rehearsal and performance schedule​

  • Register online or download mail-in registration (must be postmarked by January 31, 2020.)

  • Download Scholarship application packet (must be postmarked by January 24, 2020.)

  • Cost is $350. Payment options are available only with online registration: half is due at registration; half due by January 24.

  • Space is limited to 30 elementary actors in grades 3-6. Register early, this production class will fill quickly. 

  • Class Waitlists: We maintain a waitlist until one week before the first day of programming.  contact to be added to the waitlist. 

ABOUT THE SHOW

Join Simba and his friends as they learn about the importance of family and redemption.  Based on the popular Disney movie and play, the Lion King Jr. has all your favorite songs, including "Hakuna Matata" and "Circle of Life".  Don't miss this opportunity to strut your stuff, find your spirit animal, and sing your heart out!

As this is a musical, actors will need to be able to match pitch.

  • Saturday, February 8, 1-4pm:  First meeting, includes auditions, LOCATION: THE EVENT ROOM IN THE WAREHOUSE, 1525 S. ROGERS

  • Tuesday, February 11, 6-8:30pm: LOCATION: Stages Bloomington, 222 W. 2nd Street (building is called Artisan Alley, our entrance is in the BACK)

  •  Tuesday, February 11, mandatory parent meeting 6-6:30pm

  • NO REHEARSAL Thursday, February 13

  • Saturday, February 15, 1-4pm rehearsal LOCATION:  THE WAREHOUSE, 1525 S. Rogers

  • No rehearsals over Spring Break; this includes Saturday, March 14 and March 21

  • Rehearsals February 8 - April 23

    • Saturdays 1-4pm February 8, 15, 22, 29, March 7, 28, April 4, 11, 18

    •  Tuesdays 6-8:30pm February 11, 18, 25, March 3, 10, 24, 31 April 7, 14, 21

    •  Thursdays 6-8:30pm NO REHEARSAL FEB. 13, yes rehearsal on the following: February 20, 27, March 5, 12, 26 April 2, 9, 16, 23

  • Tech Week at The Warehouse 6-8:30pm:  Sunday, April 19, Monday, April 20, Tuesday, April 21, Wednesday, April 22, Thursday, April 23
