        Summer Camp 2025
Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka KIDS

WHO: This summer camp production is open to campers ages 8 - 12

WHEN: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM - June 16th - 27th

WHAT: Join us this summer for a whirlwind production of Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka KIDS! In just two weeks, campers will learn music, choreography, and staging for this classic tale, culminating in a performance for families at the end of the second week. Between rehearsal windows, there will be plenty of elements of summer fun included. This is the perfect opportunity for new and returning campers to hone their "triple threat" and collaborative storytelling skills!

2022

Teen Summer Acting

June (Mondays & Wednesdays)

For teens entering 8th - 12th grades

The Teen Summer Acting Studio will focus on character analysis and scene and monologue preparation. Join us for a lively and collaborative studio experience!  The teen summer acting program will be led by Grace Lazarz.

 

Actors meet Monday and Wednesday evenings, 6-8 p.m., June 6-29, and will present a short program at 7 p.m. June 29th

When: June 6 - June 29, Mondays and Wednesdays (8 sessions), 6 pm - 8 pm

Who: Teens entering grades 8 - 12 in the fall of 2022

Musical Theatre Camp

June 20 - July 1(Two Weeks)

 for youth entering 3rd- 7th grades

Musical Theatre enthusiasts will learn and work on music, dance, acting, and storytelling skills all while practicing teamwork and gaining confidence in communication and problem-solving.  This all NEW two-week summer camp experience includes a revue show letting the campers show off their new skills on the afternoon of July 1st for family and friends.

This camp will be lead by Rachel Morrow.

When: June 20 - July 1 (two weeks), 9 am - 4 pm, Monday through Fridays

Who: Youth entering grades 3 - 7 in the fall of 2022

How Much: $395

2021​

Modern Fairy Tales & Fables!

July 12 - 16, 2021

9 am-4pm

​Inspired by the imagination, come explore the world of storytelling through myths, fairy tales, and fables, welcome to a week of creating modern twists to childhood classics! Campers will experience acting, playwriting, choreography, stage combat, and scenic design to create a short devised piece. Take part in bringing magic to life through theatre making! Each camp is co-led by local master teaching artists and Stages Bloomington staff to ensure the most comprehensive and engaging week of theatre!  

Ages: 8-12 (divided into age appropriate groups with some cross collaboration)

Tuition: $200

Location: The Warehouse Bloomington, 1525 S. Rogers, Bloomington, IN

This camp is designed to be an in-person experience that is designed to follow COVID conscious safety precautions. Masks will be worn and staff/instructors are fully vaccinated.

 

Final Sharing: *In lieu of a live showcase, choreographed numbers and select camp creations will be recorded as a keepsake for families. 

Musical Theatre Creation Workshop 

June 14-18, 2021

9am-4pm

​Hone your acting skills while exploring themes and scores from hit musicals! Campers will spend the week training in areas of musical theatre dance, acting, and ensemble building games! Learn key musical theatre choreography while improving your technical ability and physical expression. Everyone will also get the opportunity to delve into scenic and props creation to compliment the performance. Each camp is co-led by local master teaching artists and Stages Bloomington staff to ensure the most comprehensive and engaging week of theatre! 

Ages: 8-12 (divided into age appropriate groups with some cross collaboration)

Tuition: $200 (early bird price through 5/1)​

 

 This camp is designed to be an in-person experience that is designed to follow COVID conscious safety precautions.

 

 Location details are being finalized over the next few days and will be announced in the next week.
