PRODUCTION DATES

August 24 - November 10, 2019
Rehearsals: Tuesday/Thursday. evenings; Sat. mornings 
Tech Week: Oct. 21-24, Monday-Thursday
4 Performances: November 8 -10, 2019

School Day Performances:  Friday, November 8, 10am and 1pm 

 

REGISTER

  • Schedule commitment: You must be able to commit to the entire rehearsal and performance schedule​

  • Register online or download mail-in registration (must be postmarked by August 19, 2019.)

  • Download Scholarship application packet (must be postmarked by August 12, 2019.)

  • Cost is $350. Payment options are available only with online registration: half is due at registration; half due by August 19.

  • Space is limited to 35 high school/middle school/elementary actors. Register early, this production class will fill quickly. 

  • Class Waitlists: We maintain a waitlist until one week before the first day of programming.  contact info@stagesbloomington.com to be added to the waitlist.  

 

 

ABOUT THE SHOW

Get in on the magic of Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp!  Actors in grades 5-12 are invited to join this exciting production class featuring a new version of this classic tale.  Plus, you don’t have to be a singer to enjoy being in this show!

Rehearsal and performance dates: August 24 – November 10

Schedule commitment: When you register for the show, you agree to commit to the entire rehearsal and performance schedule​ below:

  • August 24, 9am-12pm: First meetings; include auditions

  • August 27 6-8:30pm: Read through

  • August 31: Mandatory parent meeting

  • August 24 - November 7: Rehearsals

    • Tuesdays, 6:00-8:30 pm: August 27, Sept. 3, 10, 17, 24, Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

    • Thursdays, 6:00-8:30 pm: August 29, Sept. 5, 12, 19, 26, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 

    • Saturdays, 9am-12pm: August 24, 31, Sept. 7, 14, 21, 28, Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26

  • November 4 - 7 6:00-8:30 pm: Tech Week at the Waldron

  • Nov. 8-10: Performances

    • Nov. 8: School Day Show, first call at 9am, lunch provided, actors go home after 1pm performance and return at 5:30pm for public performance

    • Nov. 8: Cast call: 5:30 pm; Show: 7:00 pm

    • Nov. 9: Cast call: 12:30 pm; Show: 2:00 pm

    • Nov. 9: Cast call: 5:30 pm; Show: 7:00 pm

    • Nov. 10:  Cast call: 12:30 pm; Show: 2:00 pm

    • 4:00-6:30 pm: All cast & crew stay to break sets and move out. Parents and volunteers, please join us. We welcome the help!
