Beginning Acting

Open to actors grades 1-3

 

In this exciting new class, young people will be introduced to the craft of acting.  Learn and play with stage direction, imagination, improv, and the basic techniques needed to perform well.  Whether you’re interested in being in future productions, or you want to build some self-confidence, this class will be a fun way to prepare for both!

Cost:  $150

When: Mondays, September 9 - Oct. 7, 4:30pm to 5:30pm

Where: Stages Bloomington’s new Classrooms and Rehearsal Studio at Artisan Alley, 222 W. 2nd Street in Bloomington (map)

 

REGISTER

  • Register online or download mail-in registration (must be postmarked by September 1, 2019.)

  • Download Scholarship application packet (must be postmarked by August 26 2019.)

  • Cost is $150. Payment options are available only with online registration: half is due at registration; half due by September 1, 2019.

  • Space is limited to 15 elementary school actors in grades 1-3. Register early, this class will fill quickly. 

  • Class Waitlists: We maintain a waitlist until one week before the first day of programming.  Contact info@stagesbloomington.com to be added to the waitlist.

Beginning Acting will run five Mondays, after school, Sept. 9, 16, 25, 30 and October 7 from 4:30-5:30pm.
