Practical Shakespeare

Open to teens and adults

 

So you want to be an actor, but Shakespeare scares you.  Or maybe you want to be a more informed audience member.  This class is for you!  Study with a master – IU Theatre Professor Jonathan Michaelsen.  Learn how to read, understand, and deliver the beautiful language of Shakespeare.  This very special class is for both teens and adults.

Cost:  $150

When: Thursdays, October 10 - November 7, 2019, 5:10pm to 6:10pm

Where: Stages Bloomington’s new Classrooms and Rehearsal Studio at Artisan Alley, 222 W. 2nd Street in Bloomington (map)

 

REGISTER

  • Register online or download mail-in registration (must be postmarked by October 1, 2019.)

  • Download Scholarship application packet (must be postmarked by September 26 2019.)

  • Cost is $150. Payment options are available only with online registration: half is due at registration; half due by October 1, 2019.

  • Space is limited to 20 adults and teen actors. Register early, this class will fill quickly. 

  • Class Waitlists: We maintain a waitlist until one week before the first day of programming.  Contact info@stagesbloomington.com to be added to the waitlist.
