Improv with IU Professor of Theatre Jonathan Michaelsen

Open to Adult and Teen Actors 

Join IU Theatre professor Jonathan Michaelsen for five exciting improv classes!  This new fall class is now open to adult and teen actors. Stretch your mind, your body, and your imagination as you learn to cut loose and let the creative juices flow.  In addition to his many directing credits at Indiana University, Professor Michaelsen worked with the world-famous improv group Second City in Chicago. Come learn the tricks of the trade from a consummate theatre professional!

Thursdays, Sept. 5 - Oct. 3, 2019
5:10pm to 6:10pm

Location:  Stages Bloomington’s new Classrooms and Rehearsal Studio at Artisan Alley, 222 W. 2nd Street in Bloomington

 

REGISTER

  • Register online or download mail-in registration (must be postmarked by August 31, 2019.)

  • Download Scholarship application packet (must be postmarked by August 22, 2019.)

  • Cost is $150. Payment options are available only with online registration: half is due at registration; half due by Sept. 5.

  • Space is limited to 20 adult and teen actors. Register early, this class will fill quickly. 

  • Class Waitlists: We maintain a waitlist until one week before the first day of programming.  contact info@stagesbloomington.com to be added to the waitlist.

Classes meet after school and work on five Thursdays - September 5, September 12, September 19, September 26, and October 3 from 5:10pm to 6:10pm.
